How It Works:

In order to complete your order, we’ll need to get some information from you. Using the order form below, please let us know your name, a valid email address we can contact you at (and send your order to—this is IMPORTANT folks), the color palette you we should use when we design your custom icon, and a detailed description of what you would like your custom icon to be.

After completing the form, click the Pay With PayPal to pay for your order and confirm your transaction. After we receive your order, we may contact you if we have any questions about your custom. You will receive your custom icon and template from us via email in about 5 business days.

What You'll Receive:

Your custom icon order will include the following: A) a 32x32 GIF image of your icon that you are free to use however you want to, and B) a DSicons.com Template image with 3-step instructions to redraw your icon on your Nintendo DS. You will receive your icon and template image via the email address you supply here. There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges of any kind for any reason.

This is EXTREMELY important. If you botch this one, we won’t be able to send your icon.

Describe Your Icon

Give us a detailed description of what you would like your custom icon to be. Be as specific as possible. We cannot read minds, and we only have 32 pixels and 15 very limited colors to work with. Good = "a yellow banana peel" or "a chihuahua with a pink collar and blue gemstone." Bad = "make my icon look really cool with pimp-de-pimp-pimp blinging shizzle." We don’t know what the heck that means. If you would like to include a link to an image on the internet that supports your description, please feel free to do that.

I understand that I am ordering a custom icon from dsicons.com. I agree that there are no refunds, no returns, and no exchanges for the custom icon that I will receive. If I do not like the icon I receive for any reason, I will not hold dsicons.com or Firewheel Design Incorporated liable in any way. If I would like a the icon to be re-designed, I understand that I will need to complete a new order and pay a new fee for the re-designed icon.

How do I get these icons onto my Nintendo DS?
This is the fun part... you get to draw them yourself! We provide oversized templates and instructions with each of our icons to show you how to recreate your icon in all of its glory with your own two thumbs. It's really not that hard, and with a little practice you'll find yourself drawing these icons on your Nintendo DS in minutes.
What games support icons on the Nintendo DS?
While we're sure the list will continue to grow, Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing are the two popular ones we tend to focus on here. We'll add to our list as new games become available.
Can I use these icons on my website?
Sure thing. Feel free to use them howrever. We simply ask that YOU DO NOT RESELL THEM, archive them, or redistribute them as a group.
Can you draw me the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, or Munch's Scream in 32x32 pixels for my Nintendo DS?
Probably not. Mario only gave us 15 basic colors to work with in a VERY SMALL SPACE, so temper your expectations a bit. If DaVinci couldn't paint it in 32x32 pixels, we probably can't either.
I have a question about my order. Who should I contact?

What if I don't like the custom icon you drew for me? Can I get a refund?
We're sorry, but do the very subjective nature of art in general, and the fact that we do spend a good bit of time on every custom icon we create, we cannot offer refunds, returns, revisions, or exchanges for any reason whatsoever. Thanks for understanding.
